Brunswick Holdings were a large construction company with several divisions. The site was designed around their existing logo and corporate colours. The main image on this homepage was created in Photoshop and Freehand, based on a photograph of their corporate headquarters. A rough sketch of this building flows into the photographic representation of the building, reflecting the skills base of the company, which is able to carry a project through from original design concept to final completion. The 'trompe d'oeil' pen, graph paper background and 'handwritten' tagline complete the effect of the draughtsman's table.
The menu down the left hand side has links to all the main divisions within the company, each illustrated with a photo of that division's activities. Each section has its own top-left logo and a submenu along the top bar, each division having, in effect, its own 'mini-website'.
Sadly, this site has long-since vanished into the ether, along with the company...
There was originally a 'splash' page for the site, but this was dispensed with and the opening page became the homepage above. The slanted 'B' appeared in the company's literature and it was requested that it appear on the site. I made the 'B' in a 3D-rendering programme, and it was used eventually as an animated gif elsewhere in the site...
