Wolfmoon

A romantic werewolf picture with erotic overtones. I was taken with the idea of trying to create the iconic, lonely silhouette of the solitary wolf howling at the moon, but with a human figure in place of the wolf. The style of the picture is very much based on the great illustrators of the old 'pulp' magazines such as 'Weird Tales' - Virgil Finlay in particular.

This picture led directly to the story 'Wolfwind', found in the writing section of the site.
