Vampire

This illustration was done for an adventure supplement in the role-playing magazine 'Warlock'.

I wanted to create a 'Nosferatu'-style vampire rather than the more usual elegant Victorian nobleman. The intended dramatic foreshortening on the reaching hands didn't quite come off here, though I tried several versions. I like the 'bat' shadow he's casting on the wall, though.
