Null-grav dancers

This was a quick sketch for a couple of background figures in a rather ambitious painting idea. The idea was to show an off-world bar or restaurant, with customers of various different species all mingling in a social way. In the background would be this pair of dancers, floating in a localised field of zero-g or 'null-grav', generated from a kind of 'pad' on the floor of the bar or stage.

As with so many of my ideas, the painting never happened(!), but some of the elements remain as rough sketches like this one - I think 'Alien embrace' is probably from the same set of roughs. I love the idea of these two slender beautiful figures turning and twisting in an intricate and unsupported dance in mid-air, though.
