Early Caeci

This a real piece of juvenilia, dating back to the mid-seventies I think. It shows a very early incarnation of Caeci, before I'd developed the backstory and physical appearance of the elfen race. This version of Caeci shows here as a 'standard' Dungeons and Dragons elf with a human physique, dark-hair and pale-skin (though she already departs from that standard slightly, having feline eyes). She was just one of the various Dungeons and Dragons characters that I played in those days. It was only over the next few years that she grew and developed into the very different character illustrated and written about elsewhere on this site.

I quite like the dynamic pose in this sketch, though the blood on the sword is a bit over the top! Nice outfit, too! If the sword seems awfully big I suspect it's because I wanted to show the more-than-human strength that the D&D elves have.
