Caeci - swordfight

Action pose of the elfen Caeci Wolfsong. Caeci was a character originally created for an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons campaign back in the early eighties when I was playing the role-playing game regularly. Her race - the elfen - were designed to be a believable species derived from feline ancestors rather than the primates. Their look was intended to inform the human slang for the race - 'little people' and 'furries (fairies)'. Over the years I developed an extensive back-story for both the elfen and Caeci herself, and she became a regular subject for both my illustration and writing.
