











During the 20 years that I was an actor, I also did a lot of illustration work, both for my own pleasure and as a way of earning a living in the lean times. It was quite a useful 'second string' to have as well as enabling me to make a small but welcome income from what was essentially a hobby.
I worked almost exclusively in the science-fiction and fantasy genre, producing work for publishers, magazines and games manufacturers. Most of my commercial work was done in pencil or pen & ink, but I did do a few larger, colour paintings in oils or acrylics. More recently, I've been moving into the digital realm and producing work directly in the computer.
This section of the site has a small selection of the work that I produced over that period, as well as some that I'm still producing today, though sadly I don't have anything like the time I used to have to devote to this side of things.
